Please Gift me with Feedback for My Birthday!

I don't want this blog to be a regurgitation of things everyone already knows about the writing craft and I don't want it to be all about me. Now, I am trying to accomplish this but I am failing. I need your help, dear readers.

What do you guys WANT to know about writing or about me? What would you guys like to see on my blog that I could incorporate? I am hoping to incorporate what you desire to see so it is a blog YOU enjoy.

My birthday's today so please consider it a birthday present to give as much feedback as possible. Heck, if you guys really love me, you'll give me so many ideas my head will spin! lol
Seriously though, any feedback you can give is appreciated. I have asked for this in the past but it hasn't yielded any results. Please help me with this.

Waiting on you,

Jennifer Jackson

  1. Hi Jennifer! Happy Birthday! I hope you have a great day.
I want to know do you have more poems in the works? I read the one you published and it was great! I look forward to seeing more from you.

  2. Happy Birthday to you, What R U up too, tell us bout your writing and then we can play too!

I like silly questions, to be answered on your blog not scattered all over would be a change. I mean I get the visit your neighbor thing too, but loading all those pages on poor old computers can take eons.

  3. Happy belated birthday! I hope it was a good one. :) I'd like to see a list of fun questions about yourself as well. Or maybe a quick list of writing tips.

  4. Lynn and Alyson: OK... well... you could post the questions and I could answer them, no matter how many. I wish I could sticky a post so you guys could just keep asking as you want without having to search through. Unless I'm mistaking what you're saying...?

Lisa: I should try to post my work more. I have been writing about writing and not posting my writing, which isn't good.

Alyson: As far as writing tips, I don't know if I would have a new take on anything.

  5. Happy Birthday, Jennifer! I think you should just post whatever problem you ran into and the answer to that, open it for discussion each time.

  6. Happy Birthday!!! I love everything you share on your blog: poetry, writing prompts, stories, etc. I'd love to hear more about your journey as a writer. Did you always write poetry? Did you ever consider writing other pieces? What is your writing schedule like?

  7. Thank you all for the birthday wishes! I had a wonderful day.

DM: It actually sounds simple when you put things that way. I could give it a try.

Saumya: I will try to blog about my writing journey on Wednesday.

Everyone: Thank you for this! If you can think of anything else, drop me a line anytime at all.
