The Monster (Prompt)

Taking a cue from Anna's poem "A Deadly Night" I want you to write a monster poem/story.
It could be about a werewolf, sludge monster, a giant hairball gaining sentience in exchange for eating beds... anything. It doesn't matter what tone you take.
