No matter what you write about there is always room for some growth. It could be your character has a revelation about his/her life in a garden. It could be writing about what it takes to make a business grow. If you're a person penning a memoir right now, it may be time to dust off some more of those old childhood memories. Or, for poets, just writing a poem talking about growth in some way.

A Chance
It starts
A lone, pale seed
Lying limp in a palm
Threatening to be spirited
Away by wind and parachute
Down to gritty, wet ground just
Feet below itself so it may spring forth
Fresh and green
****
There's always room to grow!
-Jennifer Jackson
A short and perfect poem on growth. I loved it.
