Schmaltz-Excessively sentimental art or music
Liquid fat, especially from a chicken
Act of growing from child to teenager
Restoration of youth
Offal-Waste parts from a butchered animal
Kowtow-To bend the knees and bow in a servant manner
Try to gain favor by cringing or flattering
Charcuterie-Cooked or processed meat food
A place specializing in such food
Or, if you must, write around the theme of the day.
Happy Easter to those who celebrate.
Wow, some very interesting words (many I didn't know before). Great prompts! Take care!ReplyDelete
I often go through a book I am reading and make a list of words I don't know. It is how I come up with this kind of thing. And no, I am not embarrassed to admit I don't know them.
I didn't know any of those. If I didn't know better I would think they were blog verification words :)ReplyDelete
I thought that same thing during some of this! They're all from a translated book so I thought some of them SURELY had to be something else but, nope, all English.Delete
